Donate and Provide Funding for Key School Projects
Support our local schools by donating and helping to fund special projects

Community and business support through Funding & Donations
At the Moorland Federation, we are deeply committed to enriching the educational experiences of our students and we know that this is a shared mission. We warmly invite local businesses and community members to support their local schools by donating or funding special projects that make a real difference.
Together, we can create more than just learning opportunities. We can build a stronger, more connected community.
How You Can Help
Local Businesses:
Your support can come in many forms: sponsoring events, providing financial backing for specific projects, or donating materials and resources. These partnerships greatly enhance our students’ educational journey and also foster positive brand recognition, deeper community ties, and a meaningful sense of corporate social responsibility.
Community Members:
From volunteering your time and expertise to taking part in fundraising events or even simply spreading awareness, your involvement is crucial. Every effort helps us build a nurturing, vibrant learning environment where children can truly thrive.
A Huge Thank You to Our Incredible Fundraising Mums!
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to a truly inspiring group of mums from our school communities (view on Facebook) whose fundraising achievements have made a remarkable impact across the Moorland Federation.
Last September, this determined team took on the Three Peaks Challenge, showing our pupils the true meaning of resilience and commitment. Their efforts raised an amazing £9,706 towards the refurbishment of the Cutcombe First School swimming pool—a vital facility used by several schools across our Federation.
But they didn’t stop there! An additional £1,560 was raised and split between St Dubricius School in Porlock, to support the development of raised vegetable beds, and Cancer Research, demonstrating their deep commitment to both education and wider community causes.
We couldn't be more proud or grateful for their energy, generosity, and unwavering support.

We're also excited to cheer them on in their next adventure—‘The Sweat Path’, taking place later this year. You can follow their journey and support their fundraising efforts by visiting their Facebook page.
Thank you for showing us all what community spirit can achieve!
