Our Commitment to Technology: Empowering Students with Innovative Learning Tools

At the Moorland Federation, we understand the significant role technology plays in our students' lives and education. That's why we are committed to providing a wide range of cutting-edge tools and resources to enhance learning experiences and prepare our students for success in the digital age.

One of our primary tools is Google Classroom, a versatile platform that allows teachers and students to collaborate, communicate, and stay organized in a user-friendly virtual environment. Google Classroom enables us to provide engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and give personalized feedback, all while fostering essential digital skills.

We also use fun and engaging programs like TT Rock Stars to help students develop their numeracy skills. These interactive online resources help children master math concepts while enjoying a gamified learning experience.

To ensure our students have access to the technology they need, we provide Chromebook laptops, iPads, and tablets for use in the classroom. We also maintain well-equipped computer suites where students can explore, create, and learn in a supportive environment.

This year (2023), we are looking to introduce a new STEM Lego system to our curriculum. This innovative resource helps students develop essential skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on, collaborative learning experiences.
