Dunster Preschool values the importance of outdoor learning experiences. All children have the opportunity to participate in Fundamentals and Forest School activities at least once a week. Our inspiring outdoor area provides a safe and stimulating space for children to explore and connect with nature. Through free-flow access to the outdoor learning environment, we encourage a sense of wonder and promote a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Seamless Transition to Reception: A Foundation for Success

Although operating as an independent setting, being based on site of Dunster First School means we have a close partnership with the school and their Reception teachers. By aligning our curriculum and planning, we ensure a seamless transition for children moving into Reception.

Opening Times

Our preschool is open all week, offering flexible options for families.
Our opening times are 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
